About Us

Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.

The Zeta Psi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was welcomed onto The University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s campus in March of 1981. Now, we are one of the largest sororities on campus. In February of 2016, we celebrated our 35th Anniversary with a Gala and a Brunch, where alumnae sisters from all over the country attended. Not only are our sisters active within the chapter, but they are also involved in numerous campus organizations, clubs, and honors societies. Each of us found the one thing we were looking for – a family away from home. Through our open motto, “We Live for Each Other,” we have found lasting friendships and created never-ending memories.
